Once again, in support of new writing, Kaiden will be performing in a short piece at Theatre N16 in London for one night only on 25th May. The piece is titled Fresh Legs and is one of the five short plays that will make up Paint Dry Theatre’s one night event: Shorts.
Fresh Legs, written by Tilly Lunken, and directed by Rob Henderson, sees Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, (made world famous by the Disney Animated Classic of the same name), meet Mary Shelley’s classic horror story, Frankenstein, in a satisfyingly comedic fusion of ‘fairy tale’ and ‘frightening’.
Fresh Legs tells the story of Anna (Megan Hair), a paraplegic high schooler who longs for nothing more than to cast aside her wheelchair and dance the night away at the Halloween dance, with Michael (Kaiden), the most popular boy in school, where he is strutting his stuff offering his best Michael Jackson dance moves. Horror meets hilarity when Anna makes a deal with her best friend Ursula (Francesca Burgoyne) to do just that, but for a price.
