In an uninterrupted string of Shakespearean productions, Kaiden will soon be delving deep into the work of The Bard once again, this time tackling one of the most famous love stories ever told in Romeo & Juliet. Kaiden is delighted to officially announce his reunion with the Icarus Theatre Collective and dynamic director Max Lewendel, performing in their latest touring production as the tragic titular lover, Romeo.
This will be the second time that Kaiden has featured in Romeo & Juliet in as many years after performing as Paris in Random Occurrence Theatre Company’s production of the play last summer in Covent Garden.
The role of Romeo has been performed by many actors across the globe, in many languages, over centuries of performance history and Kaiden is incredibly excited to be lending himself to this iconic role. Rehearsals are already under way and the show will open on 19th September at The Kings Theatre, Southsea, Portsmouth before going on an extensive tour of the UK and Ireland. More information on touring dates and venues, as well as how to book tickets, can be found here. You can also follow the progress of the tour by visiting the Icarus Romeo & Juliet blog, as well as watching Kaiden’s personal experiences as the tour continues through his Twitter profile @KDuBois27 (a current feed of which can be seen now, new to our trusty sidebar at the right of the screen).
